For CISOs

Your vendors extend your attack surface. Your program should extend just as far.

Security leaders carry the technical accountability for third-party risk. Cynapze gives you the depth to monitor every vendor and the structure to document that oversight at every level.

The challenge

The blind spots a security leader can’t afford to have

01

Your attack surface doesn't stop at your firewall

A growing share of breaches originate at a vendor. Without visibility into supplier posture, your real attack surface stays partly invisible.

02

Annual reviews tell you what was true, not what is true

A vendor's posture can shift in seconds. A questionnaire from eight months ago says nothing about the exposure they carry today.

03

Dozens of vendors, one stretched team

Chasing questionnaires, validating evidences and working on remediation plans across a large vendor base consumes time your team doesn't have.

04

Regulatory pressure with no single system of record

Demonstrating oversight under NIS2 or DORA means producing evidence on demand, not reconstructing it from scattered files.

05

Every vendor treated the same way wastes effort

Without weighing grade against criticality, your team can spend as much time on a marginal supplier as on one tied to a critical system.

06

Hard to explain risk in terms the board understands

Technical scores and issue counts don't always translate into something a board can act on without a clearer narrative.

The solution

One platform built for CISOs needs

Step 01 of 04

Daily Vendor Monitoring

Vendor portfolio: every monitored vendor with security score, business criticality, type and status

Drill into 10 risk factors per vendor, from network security to application flaws, with daily refreshed scores instead of a yearly snapshot.

Access the technical findings behind each grade, down to open ports or expired certificates, for the vendors that matter most.

Auto-detect and classify vendors from detected to managed, and map how they interconnect, so systemic and fourth-party exposure surfaces.

Track score history per vendor, and control which roles see which level of technical detail.

Step 02 of 04

Faster Vendor Assessment

Adding a vendor: AI-detected third and fourth parties, then a business criticality suggested from peer benchmarks

Send questionnaires to managed vendors, aligned to NIS2, DORA, ISO 27001, NIST CSF or your own baseline, reusable across every vendor category.

Assess a vendor once, then project the result onto every framework you report on.

Send a single-use link, track each response from sent to completed, and request evidence with a clear accept or reject decision.

Turn any gap into a remediation plan with an owner and a due date.

Step 03 of 04

Risk Mapped to Criticality

Risk matrix: vendors by business criticality and security rating, from safer to riskier

Cross-reference each vendor's grade with the business criticality you assign, surfacing the intersections that deserve immediate attention.

Match emerging threats against your vendor list, with intelligence from European and global authorities, to know who is affected within hours.

Get alerted when a high-priority vendor's grade drops, a new issue appears, or a provider you share with others is affected.

Open one matrix view of vendor risk across your portfolio, ready to guide where your team focuses next.

Step 04 of 04

Role-Based Technical Access

Report Center, Board: global risk score, compliant vendors, incidents and a board report preview

Generate reports mapped to NIS2 and DORA directly from your vendor data, ready for regulators or leadership.

Track compliance readiness from a single control set projected across every framework.

Maintain a full audit trail of every assessment, score change and remediation, organized by vendor and date.

Centralize certifications with expiry alerts, and grant auditors scoped access to exactly what they need.

Built for security leaders who need both granular technical data and a program that scales beyond what a spreadsheet can hold.

Outcomes

A TPRM program built with the technical rigor your role demands

Cynapze gives security leaders one place to monitor, assess and document vendor risk, with the depth a technical team expects and the structure a growing program needs.

Built for CISOAdapts to your regulatory realityInsights from day one
1

Full vendor visibility

From L1 grades down to individual technical findings, one continuously updated view of your real exposure, including fourth parties.

2

Issues caught before they escalate

Daily score refreshes mean a dropped grade reaches your team within a day, not at the next scheduled review.

3

A bigger program, not a bigger team

Send questionnaires, track responses and manage remediation across hundreds of vendors from a single platform.

4

Audit-ready in a few clicks

Pull NIS2 and DORA-aligned reports straight from your vendor data whenever oversight needs to be demonstrated.

5

Faster, sharper prioritization

Combine vendor security scores with business criticality to know which relationships deserve attention first.

What is Cynapze?
Cynapze is a third-party risk management platform. It helps organizations monitor, assess, and document the cybersecurity posture of their vendors and suppliers, all from one place.
Who is Cynapze built for?
Cynapze is built for organizations that need to manage vendor risk at scale, from security teams and risk officers to finance leaders who need visibility without becoming security experts.
How is Cynapze different from a spreadsheet or a manual review process?
Manual processes go stale the moment they're finished. Cynapze replaces static, point-in-time reviews with continuous monitoring, structured assessments, and a single record of every vendor's risk over time.
Do I need a security background to use Cynapze?
No. The platform is designed for both technical and non-technical roles, with role-based views that adapt to what each person on your team actually needs to see.
Can Cynapze scale with my vendor portfolio as it grows?
Yes. Whether you're managing a handful of vendors or several dozen, Cynapze is built to add vendors, assign criticality, and track risk without the process breaking down as your portfolio grows.
How long does it take to get started?
After creating your account, a guided setup walks you through completing your company profile, inviting team members, and adding your first vendors. Every step can be skipped and resumed later.
What do I need to add a vendor?
Just the vendor's name and domain to begin monitoring. From there, you can assign criticality, send assessment questionnaires, and build out their full risk profile over time.
Can I invite my team to use the platform?
Yes. Company admins can invite team members and assign them roles that determine what they can see and do within the platform.
What happens after I add a vendor?
Once a vendor is added, you can choose to actively manage them, which triggers ongoing monitoring, lets you send assessment questionnaires, and allows you to track remediation plans tied to their risk profile.
How do I get help if I run into an issue?
A help center with searchable articles and contextual guidance is available directly in the platform, alongside a contact form for direct support requests.
What subscription tiers does Cynapze offer?
Four tiers: Freemium, Silver, Gold, and Platinum. Each tier increases the number of vendors you can actively manage and the depth and frequency of monitoring data available.
How many vendors can I manage on each tier?
Freemium does not include active vendor management. Silver supports up to 10 managed vendors, Gold up to 25, and Platinum up to 50.
Is there a free trial?
Cynapze does not currently offer a time-limited free trial. The Freemium tier lets you explore the platform with a one-time vendor score, without an ongoing subscription.
How does billing work?
Subscriptions are billed annually. Upgrading to a higher tier takes effect immediately, with the price difference prorated. Downgrading takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
Can I cancel my subscription at any time?
Subscription cancellation is handled by our support team rather than through self-service. Reach out and we'll take care of it.
Does Cynapze help with NIS2 compliance?
Yes. Cynapze includes questionnaire templates aligned to NIS2 requirements and gives you the continuous monitoring, documentation, and audit trail needed to demonstrate supplier oversight.
Does Cynapze help with DORA compliance?
Yes. Cynapze covers the ICT third-party risk management pillar of DORA, with continuous monitoring of ICT providers, structured due diligence, and reporting aligned to DORA's documentation expectations.
Does Cynapze cover GDPR requirements?
Cynapze helps you monitor and document the security posture of vendors processing personal data on your behalf, supporting the due diligence expectations under Article 28. It is not a full GDPR compliance management tool.
Can I generate compliance reports directly from Cynapze?
Yes. You can generate reports from your vendor data aligned to the frameworks you work with, ready to share with auditors, regulators, or your own leadership.
Does Cynapze automatically map my vendor data to specific regulatory controls?
Not automatically. Cynapze gives you the structured data, documentation, and audit trail that support your compliance work, but framework-to-control mapping is not an automated feature in the current version.
Where is my data hosted?
Your data is hosted on a SecNumCloud sovereign cloud, the qualification issued by ANSSI, the French national cybersecurity agency, with no dependency on US cloud providers. This reflects a deliberate choice to support data sovereignty for European organizations.
Is Cynapze built with European compliance standards in mind?
Yes. The platform's hosting and infrastructure choices are built around European digital sovereignty principles, reflecting the regulatory environment our customers operate in.
Is my company's data isolated from other Cynapze customers?
Yes. Cynapze is a multi-tenant platform with strict data isolation between companies. Each organization only has access to its own data and the vendors it manages.
Who can see my vendor risk data inside my organization?
Access is role-based. Company admins control which roles can see what, including detailed technical findings, so sensitive data stays restricted to the people who need it.
Where does Cynapze get its security data from?
Cynapze integrates with SecurityScorecard, an established security ratings provider, as its data source. Cynapze adds the layer on top: vendor categorization, risk prioritization, questionnaires, remediation tracking, and reporting.
