Healthcare

Secure healthcare operations and guarantee uninterrupted patient care

Healthcare runs on trusted vendors and continuous care. Cynapze monitors your third-party cyber risk continuously, so resilience and compliance never compromise patient services.

The challenge

Where third-party risk catches healthcare organizations off guard

01

Patient data is the target, your vendors are the way in

Health records carry real value, and a compromised lab, billing or IT vendor can expose them as easily as a direct attack.

02

A vendor outage is a patient care problem

When a connected lab, imaging provider or scheduling platform goes down, the consequence isn't only operational: it can delay or disrupt care.

03

Annual reviews in a network that changes constantly

Between new device suppliers, software vendors and care partners, a healthcare vendor footprint shifts faster than a yearly assessment can capture.

04

Compliance obligations on data you don't fully control

Proving that every vendor handling patient data meets the standard is increasingly expected, yet much oversight still runs on spreadsheets.

05

Not every vendor touches the same level of risk

A catering supplier and a provider hosting health records don't carry the same exposure, but without a way to compare, both get the same attention, or none.

06

Vendor records spread across departments

Contracts, certifications and history for clinical and IT vendors sit in different systems across departments, with no single place to check exposure.

The solution

One platform for healthcare companies third-party risk management

Step 01 of 04

Daily Vendor Monitoring

Vendor portfolio: every monitored vendor with security score, business criticality, type and status

Track each vendor across 10 risk categories, from network exposure to application security, with scores refreshed daily for the partners handling sensitive data.

Bring labs, billing providers, device suppliers and software vendors into one register, auto-detected and classified from detected to managed.

Map what sits behind your vendors and how they interconnect, so a declining score two layers down surfaces before a care disruption.

Compare vendors against your full portfolio to identify which relationships carry the most exposure.

Step 02 of 04

Standardized Onboarding

Adding a vendor: AI-detected third and fourth parties, then a business criticality suggested from peer benchmarks

Send questionnaires built around recognized data protection and security standards, reusable across clinical and administrative vendors.

Assess a vendor once, then project the result onto every framework you report on.

Let vendors respond through a single link, so onboarding a lab or device partner doesn't stall in email.

Convert a flagged gap into a remediation plan with an owner and a deadline, tracked until closed.

Step 03 of 04

Risk Mapped to Patient Impact

Risk matrix: vendors by business criticality and security rating, from safer to riskier

Combine each vendor's grade with how critical they are to patient data or care, so a records platform isn't reviewed like a supply vendor.

Match emerging threats against your vendors, with intelligence from European and global authorities, to know who is affected within hours.

Set alerts on vendors tied to sensitive data, or when a provider you share with others is affected.

Pull one view of the vendors combining weak security with high impact on data or care, the ones to review first.

Step 04 of 04

One Register, Every Department

Frameworks readiness matrix for your vendors across DORA, GDPR, ISO 27001, NIS2, NIST CSF and SOC 2

Generate reports from your vendor data, ready for an auditor, a regulator or your board without weeks of prep.

Track compliance readiness from a single control set projected across every framework.

Centralize certifications and attestations, with expiry tracking so nothing lapses unnoticed.

Grant auditors a scoped login, and keep a full history of assessments and remediation across every department.

Built for healthcare risk and compliance teams who need a clear view of vendor exposure without slowing down care.

Outcomes

A vendor risk program built around patient data and care continuity

Cynapze gives healthcare risk and compliance teams one place to monitor, assess and document vendor security, across every department handling sensitive data.

Built for healthcare companiesAdapts to your regulatory realityInsights from day one
1

Full vendor visibility

From labs to device suppliers, one continuously updated view of where your healthcare exposure sits, including fourth parties.

2

Issues caught before care is affected

Daily score refreshes mean a dropped grade reaches your team within a day, not at the next yearly review.

3

A bigger program, not a bigger team

Send questionnaires, track responses and manage remediation across every department from a single platform.

4

Audit-ready in a few clicks

Pull compliance-aligned reports straight from your vendor data whenever an auditor or regulator asks for evidence.

5

Faster, sharper prioritization

Combine vendor security scores with data and care criticality to know which relationships deserve attention first.

What is Cynapze?
Cynapze is a third-party risk management platform. It helps organizations monitor, assess, and document the cybersecurity posture of their vendors and suppliers, all from one place.
Who is Cynapze built for?
Cynapze is built for organizations that need to manage vendor risk at scale, from security teams and risk officers to finance leaders who need visibility without becoming security experts.
How is Cynapze different from a spreadsheet or a manual review process?
Manual processes go stale the moment they're finished. Cynapze replaces static, point-in-time reviews with continuous monitoring, structured assessments, and a single record of every vendor's risk over time.
Do I need a security background to use Cynapze?
No. The platform is designed for both technical and non-technical roles, with role-based views that adapt to what each person on your team actually needs to see.
Can Cynapze scale with my vendor portfolio as it grows?
Yes. Whether you're managing a handful of vendors or several dozen, Cynapze is built to add vendors, assign criticality, and track risk without the process breaking down as your portfolio grows.
How long does it take to get started?
After creating your account, a guided setup walks you through completing your company profile, inviting team members, and adding your first vendors. Every step can be skipped and resumed later.
What do I need to add a vendor?
Just the vendor's name and domain to begin monitoring. From there, you can assign criticality, send assessment questionnaires, and build out their full risk profile over time.
Can I invite my team to use the platform?
Yes. Company admins can invite team members and assign them roles that determine what they can see and do within the platform.
What happens after I add a vendor?
Once a vendor is added, you can choose to actively manage them, which triggers ongoing monitoring, lets you send assessment questionnaires, and allows you to track remediation plans tied to their risk profile.
How do I get help if I run into an issue?
A help center with searchable articles and contextual guidance is available directly in the platform, alongside a contact form for direct support requests.
What subscription tiers does Cynapze offer?
Four tiers: Freemium, Silver, Gold, and Platinum. Each tier increases the number of vendors you can actively manage and the depth and frequency of monitoring data available.
How many vendors can I manage on each tier?
Freemium does not include active vendor management. Silver supports up to 10 managed vendors, Gold up to 25, and Platinum up to 50.
Is there a free trial?
Cynapze does not currently offer a time-limited free trial. The Freemium tier lets you explore the platform with a one-time vendor score, without an ongoing subscription.
How does billing work?
Subscriptions are billed annually. Upgrading to a higher tier takes effect immediately, with the price difference prorated. Downgrading takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
Can I cancel my subscription at any time?
Subscription cancellation is handled by our support team rather than through self-service. Reach out and we'll take care of it.
Does Cynapze help with NIS2 compliance?
Yes. Cynapze includes questionnaire templates aligned to NIS2 requirements and gives you the continuous monitoring, documentation, and audit trail needed to demonstrate supplier oversight.
Does Cynapze help with DORA compliance?
Yes. Cynapze covers the ICT third-party risk management pillar of DORA, with continuous monitoring of ICT providers, structured due diligence, and reporting aligned to DORA's documentation expectations.
Does Cynapze cover GDPR requirements?
Cynapze helps you monitor and document the security posture of vendors processing personal data on your behalf, supporting the due diligence expectations under Article 28. It is not a full GDPR compliance management tool.
Can I generate compliance reports directly from Cynapze?
Yes. You can generate reports from your vendor data aligned to the frameworks you work with, ready to share with auditors, regulators, or your own leadership.
Does Cynapze automatically map my vendor data to specific regulatory controls?
Not automatically. Cynapze gives you the structured data, documentation, and audit trail that support your compliance work, but framework-to-control mapping is not an automated feature in the current version.
Where is my data hosted?
Your data is hosted on a SecNumCloud sovereign cloud, the qualification issued by ANSSI, the French national cybersecurity agency, with no dependency on US cloud providers. This reflects a deliberate choice to support data sovereignty for European organizations.
Is Cynapze built with European compliance standards in mind?
Yes. The platform's hosting and infrastructure choices are built around European digital sovereignty principles, reflecting the regulatory environment our customers operate in.
Is my company's data isolated from other Cynapze customers?
Yes. Cynapze is a multi-tenant platform with strict data isolation between companies. Each organization only has access to its own data and the vendors it manages.
Who can see my vendor risk data inside my organization?
Access is role-based. Company admins control which roles can see what, including detailed technical findings, so sensitive data stays restricted to the people who need it.
Where does Cynapze get its security data from?
Cynapze integrates with SecurityScorecard, an established security ratings provider, as its data source. Cynapze adds the layer on top: vendor categorization, risk prioritization, questionnaires, remediation tracking, and reporting.
